Why is No Gym Required in the Most Private Gym in Los Angeles

the-bunker.jpgHi Guys– as my bio says I own the most private gym in Los Angeles. Over the years I have trained dozens of household name clients and other “movers and shakers” I’m not easy or cheap to see. Needless to say people often ask me why I would have a book entitled No Gym Required prominently displayed in here. A pretty fair question considering what I do, but the answer is easy: Her message is right.

What Jennifer is talking about in her book applies to everyone, including me. It’s about lifestyle, about commitment and consistency. No matter what I do with a client it’s only 1 hour in their day. How they live the rest of them is what makes the difference.

And what if they can’t get in to see me? I just had a bigtime sports agent cancel on me, she can’t get out of the office. Instead she’s going on a run/walk later tonight. Yesterday I had 10 clients, didn’t have time for a full workout, but I did have 15 minutes when I client showed up late so I made the most of it and did a mini-workout.

We’re all busy, we’ve all got excuses. The question is will we let them get the better of us, or do we prevail. I’m not gonna lie and tell you it’s easy, it’s not. Just start talking little steps at first. Simple things. I used to drink a lot of soda, I liked it, felt I deserved it. Well now during the day after my morning coffee all I drink is water. I’m probably saving at least 400-600 calories and being healthier. If an hour workout seems too daunting then shoot for 15 minutes, There are plenty of quick workouts in Jen’s book and I’ll start posting some more. JUST DO SOMETHING. I Guarantee you will feel a difference, and you will start to feel more committed to your new life. That’s what this is all about. Changing how you’re living so you can change how you’re being. This is one thing I promise you will not ever regret. How many things can you say that about :)
